Edges

for the past 2 weeks my class has been working on edges. edges are where 2 different materials meet, optically or physically. this painting represents a subject with a variety of edge treatments, from the razor sharp to the very soft.

This is great. I'm learning about edges myself. Your stuff is always a good example of aesthetic edge work.

Well, you're certainly one of the masters of digital painting. Lovely stuff! There's a lot to admire and learn from here. Thanks.

Looking over your blog, you've even posted one of my favorite Bouguereau's. It's just a short trip north for me to see it at the Sterling and Francine Clark museum, unless it's out on loan.

I noticed the varied edges before reading your comment. Great edge control, fresh color and all that stuff you do so well. I love that you post so much and so regularly. It keeps the rest of us inspired as frequently.
